The
Mount House, 33 Trinity Road, is a beautiful Victorian property located in a quiet residential area. We aim to meet the needs of all of our guests, however
due to the nature of the property this can make access for guests with limited
mobility difficult.
The Mount House is located on a gentle hill with bedrooms on different levels,
with steps leading up to the entrance and between floors, making them unsuitable
for wheelchair users.
The Mount House is located on a residential road with easy access by
car
Nearest bus stop
for the town centre is approx 100 yards
away
Nearest shop is approx 350 yards away
Scarborough Railway Station is approx
three quarters of a mile away. Plenty of taxis
are available around the station, we are happy to pre-book taxis for you from
the Guest House
The Mount House does not accept pets

Please advise us when making a booking of your anticipated arrival time
Rooms are available from 12 noon, we ask you to vacate by 10am on day
of departure
Limited parking is available on the premises (at owner’s risk) &
'un-restricted' on street parking outside the Guest House
Secure parking is available for two wheeled transport (Motorbikes and
cycles), at owners risk
We are walker and cyclist friendly
Assistance with luggage is always available

There are 7 steps into the lobby area from outside. Please ring the
bell on arrival
Off the lobby is a conservatory with seating for guest’s use
One step up from lobby leads to reception area
A reception desk is in the hallway where you can check in & a bell
is available to summon assistance

The front door leads through to the lobby, then onto a carpeted floored
hallway and reception
Off the hallway through a door is the main guest lounge with
comfortable seating & colour TV
The dining room is accessed down 18 stairs from the main hallway.
Separate tables are provided for each room

available for guests use is situated 7 steps down from reception
to dining room
The Mount House has
1 main staircase with 11 steps leading to the
first floor, 9 steps to the second floor, 9 steps to the third floor & a further 9 to the fourth
floor. Our wide
staircases have handrails to one side

The lounge is always open for guests use
Ample seating is available with sofas and easy chairs,

The Mount House is NOT licensed
The dining room is large and spacious, fully carpeted with separate
tables for each bedroom
Breakfast is served in the dining room, between the hours of 7.30 &
9.00am
Nearest ‘convenience’ shop with post box & cash point is 350 yards away or separate post box is 100 yards away
We have 8 bedrooms set on 4 floors, all are fully carpeted and
centrally heated
Room No’s. 2 –8 are fully en-suite, room 1 has toilet & wash
hand basin (full private use of bathroom available)
Hot drink making facilities in all bedrooms
TV's, Hairdryers, clock radios & toiletries are provided in all
bedrooms
Most rooms have synthetic pillows & duvets, any guests with feather
allergies, please inform on booking
All rooms are spacious and decorated to the highest standard
All bedrooms are located on the first to forth floors, none available
on the ground floor
There is a guest bathroom with bath, shower,
toilet & wash hand basin on the second
floor

The Mount House has a large rear garden with 5 steps down to it, with a
table and chairs available for the guests use

A full Fire System is in operation
Fire extinguishers are distributed around the Guest House and clearly
marked
Please read the fire safety instruction in your room folder (if you
have any hearing impairments please advise on arrival)
All fire exits are clearly marked
The Mount House is 100% NON SMOKING
We are happy to cater for all special diets and certain likes and
dislikes please advise before arrival
We are happy to keep medication refrigerated for you
